I agree that people are spending way to much time looking at their phones, computers, etc. instead of communicating.  And it is really bad for us.  But some people meet their wife online and that is how that life takes off.  I think that we use our phones to much, but the phone has become an important part of our society today and that we shouldn't worry about the cell phone use as much.

I think that this teacher did a great job of trying to get his students to understand that he cares about them and school is not as hard as the real world.  School is just training you to be successful in the real world.  I think the main event is what you do after school in the real world.  The main event is also never quitting and also fighting for yourself and what is right.

Reflect on your stop-motion animation project. How did it go? What worked? What didn't work? If you're not finished - why? If you are finished go in to detail about the project and what you learned. Give as much detail and information as possible.


My stop motion video went really well.  It looked really well when I played it.  I think some of the pictures could have been taken more clearly.  But that is not a problem for me, It still looks good.  I am finished.  I learned how to make a stop motion video.  My project was me roaming around the school in a swivel chair. Which was very fun.

My idea for my stop motion is a tour of Blue Valley high school given by yours truly.  I have not started taking photos but my plan is to get them done today.  My plan is to walk all over the school and give you a tour of the school.  I will have somebody take my pictures for me.

Stop motion animation is when you take a bunch of pictures and then you put them all together so that it almost look like a video.  I think that it is very cool.  I have done some before and it takes a lot of work.

Tell me about your 5 frame storyboard. What did you like about the project? What did you dislike? Was it hard to fit a story in to 5 images? Do you think you tell a clear story? What would you do differently if you could? Explain.

My five frame storyboard is my evening.  It is me doing my homework, eating dinner, watching TV, brushing my teeth, and sleeping.  I like that I got a bunch of good and accurate pictures that tell my story really well.  I like everything about my project.  Yes it was hard to fit my story into 5 images.  I think that I told my story really well.  I would make it be more than just a five frame storyboard.

I do not know what a storyboard is but I think that it involves a picture and/or a story.  It may also be sort of like a comic.  They are used to give readers a visual on what is going on in a story.  i do not know about the different ways that a storyboard can be made.

I did take the pictures.  It was fun to go around the school and take pictures.  I think that you made us take those pictures, so when we come in class today that we can edit the photos.  And we might be going into a photo editing and photography unit.

I don't know a lot about photography.  All I know is that photography is taking pictures.  I usually use my phone when I am taking pictures.  I do own a digital camera put I do not use it very much because I find it easier using my cell phone to take pictures.

Welcome back! How was your Spring Break? Tell me all about it. You've been out of school for 10 days so I know you will have plenty to share. Make it good!

My Spring Break was fun.  My cousins from Tennessee came here.  So we hung out with them.  We went to the Brook side Parade with them.  Which was very fun.  Later I went to Science City with my other cousins who are very small.  Most of my Spring Break was watching and playing basketball with my family.  Which is always fun.  So my Spring Break was pretty great.

Prepare yourself... I want you to really THINK about this blog post. I mean really use your brain. What is the significance of an infographic? What is the point of pairing graphics and information together? What impact can this have on a reader or viewer. EXPLAIN.

The significance of an infographic is that it is almost a paper and a picture put together.  It gives you the ability to visualize like a picture.  But it has some writing and information on it too, like a paper does.  The point of pairing graphics and information together is that it interest the reader with the pictures while it teaches them things with the words and graphs so in other words if you make an infographic, you are getting the best of both worlds.

I would much rather create an infographic instead of a 3 page paper.  Infographics are more fun to create and use more creativity.  Also it is more fun to look view/read an infographic instead of reading a paper.  Therefore it will make your piece look better.

I am about 70% to 80% done with my infographic.  It is coming along really nicely.  I could probably be ready to embed my infographic at the end of the hour, if I work hard during class.  I used my time wisely in class because I got a lot done and made my infographic looks really good.

You have to brainstorm and collect your information on a Google Doc before putting it into a final draft so that you know what information to put in it.  If you didn't know what information to put into it than your project.  If you didn't brainstorm than your project wouldn't be as good.

Yesterday I introduced you to infographics... tell me again what they are and how they are used? What is the benefit of an infographic? What goes into an infogrpahic?

Infographics are used to visually display information.  It makes it easy and more fun for the viewer to get all of the information.  A infographic draws more interest to your project, paper, etc.  Many images go into a infographic.  Also many facts and statistics go into it to make whatever they are talking about look bad or good.  Depending on the purpose of their paper, project, etc.

My paper is about the Death Penalty.  It is all about how the Death Penalty is wrong.  And how we can make it illegal, not just in a couple states, not in most of the states but the whole entire united states.  If we did that then the world would be a much better place.

Tell me about your Sweetheart weekend. If you didn't go to Sweetheart, what did you do? I want details! I went to sweetheart it was fun. I enjoyed it. I spent the rest of the weekend with the most handsome, sweet, incredible, baller ever, me. I went to my brothers basketball game. And my own where we beat 'Merica by 25. I also watched the Super Bowl. Even though the game wasn't great but it was still football. And that's good enough for me.
